Malihabad triple murder:Two booked for harbouring prime accused

Police said that based on electronic surveillance and local informers’ network, it surfaced that when the two main accused in the crime Siraj Ahmad (70) and his son Faraz (38) escaped after the bloodbath, their SUV broke down near Maal area. Thereafter, they called Shobhit, a contractual employee with the information department. Shobhit later asked one Deepak for help. The two gave the accused lift till Sitapur bus station in a vehicle.

Big Feat: Country’s first cable-stayed railway bridge in J&K’s Reasi completed

India's first cable-stayed railway bridge has been completed in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The bridge is part of the Udampur-Srinagar-Baramulla railway project and has 96 cables, with a total length of cable strands of 653 km. The bridge connects the T2 tunnel on the Katra side and the T3 tunnel on the Reasi side and has a single-line railway track and a 3.75 metres wide service road. The bridge is 725 metres long, including a 473 metres long asymmetric cable-stayed bridge balanced on the axis of a central pylon of height 193 metres from the top of the foundation.

The total length of the cable strand used in the bridge is 653 km. (Twitter)
