Punjab: Congress MP Channi apologises for derogatory remarks against women

Punjab State Women’s Commission had issued a show-cause notice to former CM for making derogatory remarks against women and two communities while campaigning for Congress candidate Amrita Warring in Gidderbaha.

Women’s panel summons ex-CM Channi over derogatory remarks

Criminal proceedings will be initiated against Channi if he fails to give a satisfactory reply by appearing before the commission headquarters in Mohalu by 11am on November 19.

Punjab: BJP fanning anti-farmer sentiments, says Channi
