Four Covid deaths, 455 new cases in U.P.

Gautam Buddha Nagar reported 74 new Covid cases, with active case count reaching 530 and Ghaziabad reported 38 new cases with active case load touching 278. The number of active Covid cases in the state is 3239.

India’s daily Covid-19 count falls further, active cases remain below 6 lakh

The country has been witnessing a fall in daily Covid-19 numbers in the month of October. Its case fatality rate fell below 1.5 per cent on Saturday, the Union health ministry said. Deaths per million population in the country stand at a very low level of 88, it said.

Average daily fatalities due to Covid-19 continuously decreasing in past six weeks, says health ministry

47% of Covid-19 deaths registered among those aged below 60 years: Health ministry

Addressing a press briefing, Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said about 70 per cent Covid-19 deaths have been of male patients while 30 per cent of fatalities from the infection has been reported in females.
