Indo-Nepal bus service begins from Siliguri after two years of Covid-19

The Siliguri-Kakkarvitta-Kathmandu bus will run on a regular basis from Tenzing Norgay bus terminus at 2 pm, will cover 615km and reach Kathmandu the next morning at around 7 am. The ticket is priced at Rs1500 per person.

BEST app does not show time table, stops, say commuters

Despite entering different bus routes, the app did not show the details of buses or the stops.

To make travel easier for Mumbai commuters, BEST to launch mobile app soon

BEST has begun trials of the mobile app, making the beta or trial version of it available to the public on Google play store, from August 26, 2019. It also collected feedback from experts, students and passengers for improving the app.

BEST has geo-mapped nearly 6,000 bus stops and over 400 bus routes. BEST operates over 3,100 buses on these routes which ferry nearly 30 lakh passengers every day.(HT PHOTO.)

Gurugram bus service extends three routes, increases fleet strength on each

With these new routes, the Gurugaman bus service has added approximately 22 kilometres of road network to its area of coverage, explained Arun Sharma, general manager, GMCBL.

The GMCBL will also be using its current surplus of 25 buses, which were put out of service after the discontinuation of Route 132 last month, to enhance fleet strength on these three modified routes, each of which will be allotted an additional five or six buses.(HT Photo)

In Chennai, 17 students booked after bus day revelry turns violent

The video of the incident, in which the students sitting on top of the bus hurtled down like a pack of cards all of a sudden, has gone viral on social media and on the internet. A couple of them landed on top of a two-wheeler. Though, the students fell in front of the bus, they escaped without injuries.
