Gurugram: Developer, engineers booked in 2nd FIR over flats collapse

KK Rao, Gurugram police commissioner, confirmed the registration of the case, and said that besides all the directors of Chintels India Limited, Ashok Solomon, chairman of the Chintels India Ltd, the structure engineer, architect and the contractor have been named in the FIR.

Amid fear other buildings in society may fall, govt says will act after audit

Although the police are still trying to ascertain the official ownership of the building, senior officers said they will send notices to the agencies concerned for original documentation regarding the construction of the complex, which was built under the Rajiv Ratan Awas Yojna.

4 die in Bawana building collapse

All the flats in the buildings are vacant and are in a dilapidated condition. The wooden and iron doors, windows, bathroom fittings and other amenities were stolen long back by anti-social elements, said locals.
