Court dismisses PU’s plea seeking ban on student protests on campus

Man arrested for derogatory remarks against PM, BJP leaders

A Mumbai man has been arrested for allegedly using abusive language on social media against several Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ghulam Kazi was identified by police after he issued death and rape threats in a series of Facebook Live videos from his native village. He had also accused Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and state government officials of taking public space designated for a garden to build a chawl. Kazi will be produced in court on Sunday.
