Amid rising water level in Beas: Army, NDRF evacuate 250 people from mand area in Kapurthala
Approximately 250 people stranded in the Mand area near the Beas River in Kapurthala's Bholath sub-division were evacuated due to rising water levels. The army, Punjab police, and locals helped in the rescue operation and the evacuees have been moved to relief camps. Jalandhar has also been put on high alert due to the release of water from Bhakra Dam.
