Man nabbed in murder case after 11 years in Faridabad
After evading police for 11 years, murder accused Ashok Kumar was arrested in Faridabad's Ballabhgarh. Police recovered fake documents and Rs. 5.5 lakh from him. Kumar was declared a proclaimed offender in November 2012 for allegedly killing sarpanch Bijendra alias Goli. He had used a country-made pistol and fled on a two-wheeler after the attack. His accomplice was also arrested.
