Three men charred to death as makeshift tent catches fire in Delhi's Anand Vihar

They dead have been identified as Jaggi (30), and brothers Shyam Singh (40) and Kanta Prasad (37), all from Uttar Pradesh, said police.

To be sure, a suspect in the video is heard saying that “the police officer was drunk and it should be captured on video”, while another person — who slapped the policeman — is seen asking the officer “why he slapped the other man”.

Delhi ISBTs to reopen before Diwali: Govt

The resumption of these services would mean that all three interstate bus terminals (ISBTs) in Delhi — in Anand Vihar, Kashmere Gate, and Sarai Kale Khan — will also reopen.

Work on installation of smog tower has started: Centre to SC

Solicitor general Tushar Mehta, representing the Centre, informed a three-judge bench headed by justice Arun Mishra that survey of the site for constructing the tower was complete and that the installation was being done in collaboration with IIT Bombay.

Agreement in place to install smog tower at Anand Vihar

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra that the first installment for the project, estimated at ₹18.58 crore, has been released and once the design of the tower is available from University of Minnesota, work will begin.
