Saif says sorry after assault charge

Actor Saif Ali Khan tried to wriggle out of a legal soup by apologising to the media on Monday.

A case of assault and intimidation was registered against Khan and his crew, on the complaint of photographer Pawan Patialvi of Dainik Jagran.

“It’s a lesson... I’d never forget,” Saif said, hands folded. He later hugged Patialvi. On Sunday night, the crew of an Imtiaz Ali film snatched Patialvi’s camera when he was taking pictures at the railway station they were shooting.

The case would be withdrawn after Saif sends a written statement, Government Railway Police IG GS Grewal said.
