Around 2 pm, the NHAI chief will hold a meeting with Gurgaon administration, including deputy commissioner TL Satyaprakash and Huda and HSIIDC officials.
With the Gurgaon administration, he is likely to take up issues related to acquisition of land and infrastructure projects planned to end jams on the expressway.
Chandra’s visit assumes significance as it comes amid demands to remove the Kherki Daula toll plaza in Gurgaon.
Recently, the NHAI cancelled the tenders floated for the construction of three underpasses at Rajiv CHowk, Iffco Chowk and Signature Tower crossing. Apart from these underpasses, there are plans to build an elevated u-turn opposite Ambience Mall, and construct a link road between the expressway and MG road, which has been approved by Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari.
