Rihanna’s family is growing, and she just made another big reveal at the Met Gala.
The global superstar is already mom to two adorable boys with rapper Rakim ‘A$AP Rocky’ Mayers — their first son, RZA, was born in 2022, followed by their second, Riot, in 2023. Now, the couple is gearing up to welcome baby number three.
While talking with Interview Magazine in 2024, Rihanna expressed, “When someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling,” adding, “I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”

Rihanna debuts her third pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala
Rihanna, notorious for late entrances at the Met Gala, surprised everyone this year by showing up early. Rocky served as one of the co-chairs for the 2025 event, and the couple made a statement together. Before even stepping onto the red carpet, Rihanna revealed her third pregnancy with a sleek, form-fitting two-piece ensemble.
The last time they attended together was in 2023, when Rihanna, then pregnant with their second child, Riot, turned heads in a bridal-inspired Valentino gown covered in flowers and topped with a dramatic hood. Rocky kept it edgy and elegant in a mix of classic and rebellious: a suit jacket, skinny tie, jeans, and a kilt layered over the top.
“We saw fashion the same. We saw creative the same. We ended up in the same circles a lot,” she told Interview Magazine. “And past that, when we grew up, we ended up supporting each other’s brands and products and creative all the time. I would wear his shit, he would show up to my launches. But it wasn’t until the end of 2019.”
Rocky has spoken openly about how fatherhood has changed him, perhaps bringing out the kid inside him.

“I actually love to watch cartoons — I’ve watched like, ‘Teletubbies,’ ‘Blue’s Clues,’ ‘Yo Gabba Gabba,’ ‘Peppa Pig’ and ‘Baby Shark,’” he told Dazed magazine in 2022.
“I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents.”
