CBSE Class 12 results: Unhappy with your score? Get it verified online from today
The CBSE issued a notification late on Monday saying that the board would be accepting applications online for verification of papers until Monday, June 5. A fee of Rs 500 each will be applicable, which needs to be paid before June 7
Students who received their Class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education exam results on Sunday and were unsatisfied with their scores, can apply for verification of their papers from Wednesday (May 31).

The CBSE issued a notification late on Monday saying that the board would be accepting applications online for verification of papers until Monday, June 5. A fee of Rs 500 each will be applicable, which needs to be paid before June 7.
Many students, especially those in Delhi, have been left disappointed by their grades this year after the CBSE declared its Class 12 board exam results on Saturday. Students in Delhi have been mostly unhappy about their grades in the subjects of Mathematics, Economics and Accountancy.
“I was expecting to score above 95% in Political Science and around 100% in History. I, however, managed just 91% in History and an 88% in Political Science. I would have got these papers re-evaluated. But, since they have done away with re-evaluation, I will get the scores verified now,” said a Class 12 student from Modern School in Vasant Vihar.
The board had earlier said that they would not entertain any requests for re-evaluation this year. Officials have said that instead they will ‘re-check’ or ‘verify’ answer papers, where they will ensure that all answers have been evaluated and marked and the scores have been totalled correctly.
“I believe that doing away with re-evaluation is not right. What if my paper wasn’t evaluated correctly? Our papers deserve a re-evaluation, especially after the kind of marks we are getting,” said a student who scored 86 in Sociology and 85 in Economics; lower than what they said they had expected. The student said she will be approaching the board to get her papers verified soon.
Students, who have applied for verification, will also be able to request for a photocopy of their answer booklets. Applications for the same will be received by the board online, between June 14 and June 19, at a cost of Rs 700 per subject.
