The hosts once again wrapped up the proceedings well inside three days to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Cheteshwar Pujara, who was making his 100th Test appearance, hit the winning runs as he returned unbeaten on 31. KS Bharat was the batter at the other end, who finished on 23 off 22 balls.
