India vs Australia Highlights, WTC Final Day 4: Kohli-Rahane drag India to 164/3 at stumps, need 280 more on final day

Full from Starc to start the 15th, slanting outside off, Pujara leans into it and puts it past wide mid-off. The boundaries are back it seems for India.

Just the one run in these last two overs, Boland and Starc managing to keep them down and the latter seems to be finding some rhythm now. Mitchell Starc's follow through and the footmarks being created by that are under the scanner somewhat. Rohit Sharma is using his pull shot with abandon, and aplomb for that matter. Two fielders at deep square leg and long leg but Rohit has timed it so well picking it up off Starc from hip high that both can't get to it.

As was expected really. Virender Sehwag has posted a photo of a blindfolded man on Instagram with the caption that said: "Third umpire while making that decision of Shubman Gill. Inconclusive evidence. When in doubt, it’s Not Out" pretty clear what he thinks about this. Whatever your opinion may be, the umpires, who are paid and trained to make those decisions, have deemed it out and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Apart from admiring Green's athleticism of course, happily or grudgingly.

It seems the ball is being changed now, the one being used is not going through that ring that the umpires use. It's a decisive start from India, their run rate is currently at 5.75 which is very much in limited overs territory. The important thing to be seen is how long Gill and Rohit can keep this going. For now, they are doing a splendid job playing this new ball. Rohit is on 14 off 17, Gill on nine off seven.

The heavy roller is being applied on the pitch, there will be a new ball and so Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have their task cut out. How India need a good start from their top four batters if they are to avoid defeat in this match. Well, a good start from the top four is not something they have had in recent games. Rohit, Gill, Pujara and Kohli have all been inconsistent at best and it is their middle order that have bailed them out with some extraordinary knocks. This was the case in the first innings as well and India would hope that won't be the case here.

Cummins skies a pull shot straight into the hands of point. He falls for five and Alex Carey runs off the field with him and so that is that for the Australian innings. They end on 270/8 and India have a mammoth target of 444 to contend with.

Well the players started all walking towards one side of the field, leading to one wondering if Cummins has finally declared. But they were just taking drinks. Cummins has come out swinging so Australia are thinking quick runs.
