House collapses in Delhi's Mustafabad, 4 dead, several trapped | Tragedy caught on cam
A house collapsed in Delhi's Mustafabad area at around 3 am on Saturday, trapping several people under the debris.
Four people died while several others were feared trapped under the debris of a building that collapsed in the Mustafabad area of Delhi in the early hours of Saturday, an incident which was caught on CCTV camera.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and police teams were at the spot to carry out a rescue operation on Saturday morning.
Sandeep Lamba, Additional DCP, North East District, confirmed that four people had succumbed to their injuries after being rescued, adding that some others were trapped. "The incident took place at around 3 am in the morning… 14 people were rescued, but four among them succumbed...it was a four-storey building...rescue operation is underway. 8-10 people are still feared trapped," news agency ANI quoted DCP Lamba.
A CCTV footage shared by ANI captured the moment of tragedy.
Rajendra Atwal, Divisional Fire Officer, said call regarding the house collapse was received around 2:50 am on Saturday. "We received a call regarding a house collapse around 2:50 am...we reached the spot and found out that the entire building has collapsed and people are trapped under the debris...NDRF, Delhi Fire Service are working to rescue the people...," he said.
Delhi sees sudden weather change
The house collapse incident comes hours after Delhi witnessed a sudden change in weather on Friday, with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms affecting many parts of the city in the night.
A witness said that “two men and two daughters-in-law” stayed at the house that collapsed. "The oldest daughter-in-law has three children, second daughter-in-law has three children...right now we don't know anything. They are nowhere to be seen," ANI quoted the witness.
In a related incident, one person was killed and two others injured last week after a wall of an under-construction building collapsed near the Madhu Vihar police station during a strong dust storm.
Police said the wall belonged to a six-floor building under construction.
“Around 7 pm, we received a PCR call. On reaching the spot, we found that the wall of a six-floor under-construction building had collapsed during the dust storm. One person died and two were injured. The injured were taken to the hospital,” ANI quoted additional deputy commissioner of police (East) Vineet Kumar as saying.
