Actor Varun Dhawan, had a pleasant surprise over the weekend as a female fan went down on one knee and proposed to him. The actor knew just how to handle the moment and his reaction has won the internet. Varun, who has impressed critics with films like October and Judwaa 2, was greeted at the Mumbai airport with a huge crowd of fans rushing to get clicked with him. While Varun was unfazed by the craze, he also obliged the fans with selfies. However, it was when the woman went down on one knee that we saw Varun at his best. He kissed the girl on her forehead and took selfies with her. The fan also kissed Varun on his cheeks.

Varun was returning from London where he was shooting for Street Dancer alongside Shraddha Kapoor. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film was earlier pegged as the third instalment in the hit ABCD series. According to reports, Varun is essaying the role of a Punjabi dancer and Shraddha will play a character from Pakistan. Street Dancer also stars Nora Fatehi, Aparshakti Khurana and Shakti Mohan.

Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of Karan Johar’s ambitious period love saga, Kalank, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha. The film is set to hit theatres on April 17 and the teasers and posters of the movie have already impressed fans, with 34 million YouTube views on the teaser of Kalank.
