Kalank poster has Varun Dhawan taking on a bull, Twitter says ‘Jai Mahishmati’
Actor Varun Dhawan can be seen fighting a bull in a new Kalank poster and Twitter is reminded of Baahubali.
Actor Varun Dhawan’s new Kalank poster is out now and shows him in an aggressive avatar. The actor can be seen fighting a bull in an arena, something we had earlier seen in the film’s teaser. The earlier posters showed the entire star cast of the film including Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt and Madhuri Dixit.

Varun shared the poster with the caption, “#ZAFAR #bramabull 17th April.” The actor plays Zafar in the film, who is in love with Alia Bhatt’s character Roop. Fans immediately compared it with the famous bullfight scene in Baahubali with many commenting, “Jai Mhishmati” while pone writing, “Is it just me or does it remind you of Baahubali”.

Varun had shared an interesting story from the making of the film at the teaser launch. He had said how Alia showed “too much attitude” at the beginning of the shooting. “One day, I reached 20 minutes late for the shoot. I apologised to everyone on the set but Alia was not talking to me. Then Alia had to climb on a carriage and I was pretty sure that she would fall. But like always, I had to only hold her from falling and as soon as this happened, Alia smiled,” Varun added.
This is Alia and Varun’s fourth film together after their successful films Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Alia had earlier shared a picture from the wrap of the film’s shoot and had praised Varun for his performance. She had captioned it, “It’s a film wrap for Varun on KALANK.. Our 4th film completed together and he still manages to surprise me with his hard work and crazy energy everyday.. Also manages to make me laugh like a crazy person by just being himself.. I can’t can’t can’t wait for you guys to see the stuff he’s done with his character in the film!!!! #KALANK.”
