Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are off on a bicycle, share new picture from Saand Ki Aankh set

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are clearly excited about their next film, Saand Ki Aankh. The shoot of the film has been going on in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh for a while now. And both the stars have been sharing pictures of their village life every now and then.

On Friday, both Taapsee and Bhumi shared yet another picture from the sets. Taapsee wrote: “Ibb toh hum chal padey... jaldi milenge (Now we have left... will meet you soon) #ComingSoon #SaandKiAankh.”

Taapsee and Bhumi’s last couple of posts on Saandh Ki Aankh tell a story in themselves -- in one, the two ladies have their back to the camera and are walking in a field. They make a heart symbol with their hands on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. In another, they can be seen making dung cakes. In yet another picture, the duo is seated on a tractor, while in another they are swinging from the roots of banyan trees.

Notice, in all of them, their faces aren’t visible. The two will play Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar from Haryana.

Chandro, 87, and Prakashi, 82, are from Uttar Pradesh’s Johri village and reportedly took up sharpshooting in their 50s. Chandro is among the world’s oldest female sharpshooters.

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Saand Ki Aankh also features Prakash Jha and Vicky Kadian in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Taapsee will unite with her Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap for a supernatural thriller, while Bhumi has Karan Johar’s directorial Takht and the Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh in her kitty.
