Bihar Election Result Updates 2020: Get winning candidates and parties for Katihar, Kadwa, Balrampur, Pranpur, Manihari, Barari seats under Katihar Lok Sabha constituency.

Bihar Assembly Election Result Updates 2020: The counting of votes for the Bihar legislative assembly elections is almost completed. Counting began at 8 am on Tuesday at 55 centres in 38 districts across Bihar. People of Bihar voted to elect their representatives for the six assembly seats of Katihar, Kadwa, Balrampur, Pranpur, Manihari, Barari on November 7.

Katihar assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:56 pm --- BJP’s Tarkishore Prasad won the seat by a margin of more than 8,000 votes.

Kadwa assembly election 2020 result updates: @11:15 pm-- Shakeel Ahmed Khan of Congress has won in Kadwa assembly by a margin of 25138 votes against LJP’s Chandra Bhushan Thakur. In the year 2015, Shakeel Ahmed Khan of Congress had won the seat.

Balrampur assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:40 pm --- In Balrampur, Mahboob Alam of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) won against Barun Kumar Jha of Vikassheel Insaan Party with a margin of 53597 votes.

Pranpur assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:51 pm-- Nisha Singh of BJP has won with a margin of 2972 votes against Congress’ Tauquir Alam is trailing. In 2015, assembly elections as well, BJP had won from Pranpur.

Manihari assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:41 pm --- In Manihari, Congress’ Manohar Prasad Singh has won with the margin of 21209 votes against JD(U)’s Shambhu Kumar Suman.

Barari assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:50 pm --- Bijay Singh of JD-U has won on Barari seat against RJD’s Neeraj Kumar by margin of 10438 votes. In 2015 polls, RJD’s Neeraj Kumar had won from here.

The 243-Bihar assembly went to polls in three phases -- October 28, November 3 and November 7. Bihar was the first state to conduct the elections amid the Covid-19 pandemic.The voting was done following strict guidelines to prevent the spread of virus at the polling booths.
