New rules in Ramjas college ban loud music, freshers’ party after 4pm

According to new rules in DU’s Ramjas College, no functions will be allowed in the campus after 4pm. The new rules also ban use of loud speakers and DJs during college events like farewell or fresher’s party.

Delhi: St Stephen’s to go ahead with autonomy, top body gives nod

The chairman of St Stephen’s governing council has asked the principal to proceed with the application for autonomy to the college, according to a letter circulated among teachers.

There will be no fee hike at over 300 private schools located on Delhi government land when the new academic session begins in April, a circular issued by the education department on March 27 has stated.

The Delhi government provides free textbooks to students between Nursery to Class 8. From Classes 9-12, the government gives money to buy textbook and provides supporting texts. While several books have blank pages, in others, photos are unrecognisable.
