Stray animals continue to rule city streets

Whether you are getting down the train and bus or simply arriving to the city by road, stray dogs and cattle will greet you everywhere. The denizens, local NGOs and educational institutions have raised their voice from time to time in order to free Ludhiana from stray animals, but their efforts have failed to bear fruit.

Take any wall of the city, be it in the walled-area or in the new, posh areas or even a slum, posters of all kinds stare at you. Public places such as bus stand and railway station posters are swamped with posters of various kinds. The municipal corporation never seems to have taken the issue of walls getting defaced by posters seriously.
