Moga killing part of gang war, says Punjab Police

A 65-year-old man was shot dead in Moga, Punjab as part of a gang war between the Bishnoi and Bambiha gangs. The killing was revenge for an attack on gangster Goru Baccha in jail. Baccha has been named as the accused and has been brought into custody.

Punjab: Gangster escapes from police custody in Faridkot hospital

On July 10, Faridkot police had arrested Surinderpal after he suffered a bullet injury in the leg during an encounter. He was undergoing treatment at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, where rival gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is also admitted.

Punjab fertiliser traders blame manufacturers for biz losses
