Madarsa board exams: Fate of Nepali students hangs in balance

Over 1,000 Nepali students enrolled in madarsas across the state may not be to take exams of Uttar Pradesh Madarsa Education Board due to lack of Aadhaar cards, a mandatory pre-requisite for the test, claimed a madarsa teachers’ body.

Nepalese citizens get birth and citizenship certificates, and based on one of these documents, they are given admissions to madarsas in India.(HT)

T-series wielding power

PEOPLE RIGHT from contractors to officers belonging to a particular caste, are having a field day in the Madhyanchal distribution company. Ever since the company head joined a few months back, people belonging to the ?T-Series?, a term used by many to indicate that particular caste, started getting favours from the top. It is said that more and more officials are now trying to associate themselves with the T-Series in one way or the other.
