Ballimaran Election Result 2020: AAP candidate Imran Hussain wins
The Ballimaran Assembly seat had Congress candidate Haroon Yusuf is contesting against AAP candidate Imran Hussain and Lata Sodhi of the BJP. AAP swept the seat.
Central Delhi’s Ballimaran constituency saw AAP’s Imran Hussain win over BJP’s Lala Sodhi and Congresses’ Haroon Yusuf with a margin of 36,172 votes. Hussain bagged 65612 votes, followed by Sodhi bagging 29434 and Yusuf getting a meager 4797.

Imran Hussain had 64.65% of the votes followed by the BJP candidate who got 29.03%.
Ballimaran is a suburban assembly seat that comes under the Central Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Counting of votes is underway. The constituency has around 1,40,776 eligible voters in this constituency. Imran Hussain is contesting from the Aam Aadmi Party against Haroon Yusuf of Indian National Congress and Lata Sodhi of the BJP.

AAP’s Imran Hussain was leading initially and has now been replaced by BJP candidate Lata Sodhi.
According to the data from Election Commission of India (ECI), Lata Sodhi was leading with a margin of 617 votes currently and has been replaced by AAP’s Imran Hussain with a margin of 1,469 votes at 10:12 AM.
EIC’s last update at 11:12 AM puts Imran Hussain ahead of Lata Sodhi by a margin of 1,885 votes.
At 12:02 PM, AAP has widened the vote margin to a 9313.
Imran Hussain is holding onto his lead at the Ballimaran with 64.31% of votes. Trailing the AAP candidate with 29.35% votes is BJP’s Lata Sodhi. These were the last numbers updated by ECI at 2:12 PM. The vote margin stood at 34,579.
