Woman explains meaning of ‘from the river to the sea' slogan, asks anti-Israelis to wake up and call out Hamas terror

"From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" has been widely used slogan by pro-Palestine groups. Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, this slogan is getting lot of mileage and being used freely by people protesting Israel's offensive against Hamas in the Gaza strip region. Notably, Israel has bombarded Gaza to dismantle Hamas' terror network after the terrorists launched a co-ordinated and pre-planned attack on Southern Israel on October 7, killing hundreds of innocent civilians. In the barbaric attack, Hamas terrorists raped women, beheaded children and massacred innocent people, live streaming some of the killings.

While anti-Israel narrative grows and unaware people freely use the above mentioned slogan, a woman has taken to X(formerly Twitter) to explain its meaning, highlighting that it is a "genocide call" against Israelis. Her emotional video has gone viral.

Meaning of the slogan

In the video, the woman explains that "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" means a call to wipe out Jews from the Jordan river(West Bank) to the Mediterranean Sea(Israel's coastal areas) and thus end the existence of Israel which is the only Jewish majority country in the world.

Hamas' terror on own people

Talking about Hamas, the woman highlights that the group didn't allow elections in the Gaza region since coming to power in 2006. She explains that even the people in Gaza were fed up with the terrorist activity of Hamas. But Hamas was able to rule by intimidation and suppression of voices against it in Gaza. She claimed that Hamas killed its political opponents.

In the video, the woman also highlights the humanitarian and pro-Palestine efforts of Israel ever since the country left Gaza in 2005. She claims, " 500000 Gazans cross to Israel every single day to work. Let me make something very, very clear. Since Israel left Gaza in 2005, Israel does not owe S**t to Gaza."

The woman explains how Hamas makes the local people in Gaza vulnerable by hiding arms and ammunitions in schools, homes, hospitals etc.

"If you want Gaza to be free, you support Israel annihilating Hamas and freeing them...the people of Gaza. Once Gaza is free of Hamas, there will be peace," says the woman.

Wake up call for those supporting Hamas

"Wake up already. These terrorists[Hamas] are using your values against you. They are hiding in their terror tunnels right now alongside 199 hostages. These are not freedom fighters. These are bloodthirsty monsters. Stop chanting these empty empty slogans and wake up to see what is right in front of you," pleads the woman.

"If you truly want peace, you stand with Israel," says the woman while concluding her emotional video.

Meanwhile, in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, thousands of lives have been lost on both sides.
