This Pakistani painter is winning hearts with his soulful rendition of Arijit Singh’s songs
Pakistani painter sings Arijit Singh’s songs in a soulful voice and Internet can’t stop obsessing over him
The Internet continues to be a medium for new talent to reach the masses.

Remember Madhya Pradesh professor Sanjeev Srivastava’s Govinda-style wedding dance that made the Internet swing along with him? Every household across the country now knows him as the “dancing uncle”.
The Internet is currently obsessing over Pakistani national Muhammad Arif, whose 17-minute video of Bollywood songs has won him many fans.
A painter by profession, Arif’s clip was shared by a Facebook user called Akbar Tweets on August 1. It shows Arif working while singing a number of popular Bollywood songs – including Humari Adhuri Kahaani, Channa Mereya and Phir Le Aaya Dil – in an especially soulful voice.
The video has garnered over 3.9 million views ever since it was uploaded on Facebook.
The video went viral across social media with many showering him with praises.
While praises came in buckets, a few expressed their doubts as well. “Clearly, he’s not singing and the vocals are being played through some other means. Please correct me if I am wrong,” a sceptical YouTube user said.
