The United Kingdom has decided to fulfil Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s long-time demand for battle tanks. During a phone call with Zelensky, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak confirmed that Britain will arm Kyiv with its main battle tank, the "Challenger 2," to "push Russian troops back." According to the BBC, the UK will send 12 "Challenger 2" main battle tanks to Ukraine. Four battle tanks will be delivered to Kyiv immediately, with the remaining tanks arriving in the coming weeks.
