After their initial campaign blitz in Goa, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress is now missing in action just days ahead of assembly elections in Goa. Congress leader P Chidambaram who is also the party's Goa in-charge has now hit out at the Trinamool Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party calling them parties of defectors. He also said that both these parties lacked a winning potential but they are dividing non-BJP votes. This comes after TMC made a fresh pitch for a backdoor alliance with the Congress in Goa. Addressing a public meeting at the Nuvem assembly constituency, Chidambaram said, “These parties have suddenly descended on in Goa. They have no roots. Is there any grassroots worker that has risen from the ranks of the AAP and TMC?” Currently, TMC is in alliance with the Maharashtra Gomantak Party in Goa. Find out how the TMC is now foundering in Goa.
