'Turkey Continues To Backstab': India-Middle East-EU Corridor Rattles Xi | BRI Losing Steam?

India, the European Union, the United States, and Saudi Arabia announced a mega deal to establish the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) on the sidelines of the G20 summit on September 10. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that IMEC will usher in a new chapter in global connectivity and sustainable development. The project will be developed under the G7 nations’ Partnership for Global Infrastructure Investment (PGII) initiative. The IMEC project is being seen as India's counter to China’s Belt and Road initiative. Watch this episode of South Asia Diary to understand the importance of the IMEC project and how it will counter China's BRI.
