Celebrities and politicians reacted to Saif Ali Khan's knife assault on January 16. From Ranbir Kapoor to Alia Bhatt and his children Ibrahim and Sara, all flocked to be by the actor's side as he recovers in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. Other from the entertainment industry also sent him their well wishes. Meanwhile, Saif's stabbing attack also kicked up a political storm, with several opposition leaders up in arms about Mumbai's 'security crisis'. Shiv Sena UBT's Sanjay Raut and Priyanka Chaturvedi, Congress' Bandra East MP Varsha Gaekwad questioned the government in lapses of Khan's and others' security in the city.
