Why Tokyo 2020 may be India's best Olympics ever

Delayed due to the pandemic, the Tokyo Olympics 2020 began in Japan on July 23. This is the first Olympics happening in an odd-numbered year but the official name is still Tokyo 2020. Games, happening amid pandemic, had sparked controversy too with Tokyo being in the middle of the emergency. Some Covid-19 cases have also been detected in the Games Village. Hindustan Times Editor-in-chief Sukumar Ranganathan talks about whether the Olympic Games should happen amid the pandemic or not. From an Indian perspective, this could be a watershed moment.
