Scindia flags off first Made-in-India Dornier 228 flight from Dibrugarh to Aruna

Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has flagged off India's first commercial flight of Dornier 228 aircraft. Indigenously built by the HAL, Dornier 228 will be operated by centre-run Alliance air. The first flight of civil Dornier 228 aircraft took off from Assam's Dibrugarh to Arunachal's Pasighat. Five more remote towns of Arunachal will also be connected to Assam in the coming days. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma & Arunachal CM Pema Khandu were present at the ceremony.
