Pahalgam: Pakistan Suspends All Trade With India, Bans Indian Airlines After Modi Govt’s 5 Strikes

Pakistan has announced the immediate closure of its airspace to all Indian-owned or Indian-operated airlines and suspended all trade with India, including third-country transit, in a sharp escalation of hostilities following India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty after the deadly Pahalgam terror attack. The retaliatory measures, finalized at a National Security Committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, also include downgrading diplomatic ties, expelling Indian defense advisors from Islamabad, and closing the Wagah border.
