The water level in the Yamuna River in Delhi has crossed the 207 mark, breaking a 45-year record. The floodwater has entered Ring Road in several areas, including Kashmiri Gate, ISBT, and Majnu ka Tila, prompting Delhi Traffic Police to issue a traffic advisory. The green belt along the bank of the River has been completely submerged. Yamuna Bazaar, Gadhi Mandu, Usmanpur, and several other low-lying areas have been completely submerged. The situation is set to get worse as Haryana releases more water from the Hathnikund barrage.
