Watch: Road turns into waterfall as heavy rains cause flooding in Gujarat

Rain battered districts of Gujarat over the last 24 hours. Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh were among the affected areas in Gujarat. Heavy rainfall caused flooding, and several roads were inundated. Low-lying areas were flooded and several villages were cut off. Newly-elected Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited the Jamnagar area and interacted with officials. Nearly 200 people stranded in floodwaters were rescued. Over 7,000 people were shifted to safer places in Rajkot and Jamnagar.
