Sela Tunnel: India gets strategic edge; Rajnath oversees breakthrough blast

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh oversaw the breakthrough blast of the Sela Tunnel. The tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh is set to give India a strategic heft by facilitating faster movement of troops. Rajnath Singh oversaw the breakthrough blast of the Sela Tunnel from the National War Memorial in New Delhi. The tunnel is expected to cut down distance to China border through Tawang district by 10 km. The tunnel will provide all-weather connectivity to Twang in Arunachal – an area claimed by China – and other forward areas. Watch the full video for more details.
