Mumbai: When Plane Hit Runway, Broke Into Pieces; Close Shave For Another Aircraft | Watch

Amid heavy rain in Mumbai, a Learjet 45 charter aircraft of VSR Ventures crashed at the Mumbai airport. CCTV video showed how the private plane skidded off runway number 27, even as a different plane on another runway can also be seen in the background. After the crash, the charter aircraft broke down into pieces, injuring eight. The plane from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai had six passengers and two crew members. The extent of the injuries is unknown, but no casualties have been reported so far. The runway was slippery because of the rain, and the visibility was just around 700 metres.
