J&K: How Indian Army's Quick Reaction Teams Foiled 'Threats' To Amarnath Yatra

The Indian Army is at the forefront of security arrangements since the beginning of the Amarnath Yatra this year and have eliminated a number of potential threats to the yatra. A defence spokesperson heaped praise on the Army's Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) amid the ongoing Amarnath Yatra. A total of 2,29,221 pilgrims have performed darshan at the Holy Cave in Amarnath since the beginning of Yatra on July 1. The defence spokesperson told PTI that the QRTs have successfully thwarted potential threats and provided timely assistance to pilgrims.
