India bats for own trade policy; Modi govt opts out of deal with U.S-led group

In a major 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' push, India has batted for an independent trade policy. India refrained from joining the fourth pillar of trade of U.S-led Indo-Pacific Economic Framework .
