IKEA India is facing backlash after its Hyderabad store issued a clarification over racism allegations. A journalist and his wife claimed that the female customer was frisked for items shopped at Hyderabad store one-by-one while other customers were not. Telangana minister KT Rama Rao called the incident unfortunate and urged the company to issue an apology.
