'If there was no Sharad Pawar...': Sena bid to pacify after 'backstabber' jibe

Shiv Sena has distanced itself from one of its leader Anant Geete's controversial remarks who had called NCP chief Sharad Pawar a backstabber. Sena MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that Sharad Pawar is the main pillar of Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra and that he is the top leader of the country. In a bid to pacify Pawar, Sena even credit him for making Uddhav Thackeray the chief minister of Maharashtra and said that if there was no him, then the government in state would not have existed.
