IAF scrambles fighter jets after bomb scare on China-bound Iranian plane

The Indian Air Force scrambled its fighter jets after a bomb scare onboard a China-bound Iranian aircraft. The bomb threat was received when the plane entered Indian airspace. As per the IAF, the Mahan Air plane was allowed to continue flying towards China after Iranian agencies asked the officials to disregard the threat. ANI also tweeted a video of a Sukhoi jet spotted in the skies ahead of the induction of Light Combat Helicopters Into the IAF ahead of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's arrival in Jodhpur. Iran's semi-official ISNA news agency said that Iranian airliner Mahan Air's Tehran to Guangzhou flight arrived safely and on time at its Chinese destination. Watch this video for more details.
