The Supreme Court on April 18 asked the Election Commission of India to look into an allegation that during a mock poll in Kerala, extra votes were recorded in favour of the BJP in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Meanwhile, a political war of words erupted in West Bengal over Ram Navami violence that injured 20 on April 17. BJP and TMC traded accusations over clashes during a procession in Murshidabad.
