CM Himanta calls TV host’s ‘racist’ remark on Assam contestant ‘shameful'

A reality TV show host Raghav Juyal faced flak over his alleged ‘racist’ remark during a show against a contestant from northeast. Raghav faced outrage for allegedly ‘mocking’ the contestant from Guwahati, Assam. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma called Juyal’s remarks “shameful” and asserted that racism has no place in the country.
