China copies India, raises Tibetan militia for sensitive location: Explained

A year after the Indian Army's secretive Tibetan squad - the 'Special Frontier Force' - played a key role in thwarting China's aggressive plans on the southern bank of Pangong Tso, the eastern neighbour has raised its own Tibetan militia. People in the know say that China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has already trained one batch of 100 Tibetan youth and deployed them in the Chumbi valley.
