Chandrayaan-3: ISRO Gets Temperature Profile Of Moon's South Pole From Vikram For The First Time

For the first time in history, the ChaSTE payload from Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander has sent the temperature profile of the Lunar South Pole to the earth. ISRO shared a graph illustrating the temperature variations of the lunar surface/near-surface at various depths. The Chandra's Surface Thermophysical Experiment (ChaSTE) payload on Vikram measured the temperature profile of the lunar topsoil around the pole. Watch for more details.
