Chandigarh Airport renamed after Bhagat Singh; PM Modi honours freedom icon

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly radio address 'Mann ki Baat' renamed the Chandigarh International Airport after the freedom icon. The Chandigarh Airport will now be known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Airport. The government's big tribute to the freedom icon came ahead of his birth anniversary on September 28.
