'Bid to save himself from humiliation': Sidhu accuses PM of defaming Punjab

• Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu hit out at BJP leaders on Friday saying that the BJP's accusations against Congress conspiring to harm the PM are false and baseless. Taking a dig at the low turnout for BJP's Ferozepur rally, Sidhu said the allegations were made to deflect the humiliation. The PM's convoy was stranded on a flyover due to a blockade by protesters in Ferozepur on Wednesday and he had to return from the poll-bound state without attending any event, including a rally. The BJP has termed it a serious security breach and the Centre has ordered a probe into the incident. Watch full video.
