‘99% Make-In-India…’: Chinese mobile maker Xiaomi on moving India ops to Pak

A report by South Asian Index claimed that Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi is all set to move its India operations to Pakistan in the wake of the Enforcement Directorate freezing its assets worth over ₹5,500 crore for allegedly violating FEMA guidelines. However, Xiaomi has rejected the report and termed it a baseless claim. Xiaomi also said that it has been supporting the Make-In-India initiative for a long time now.
